The Arts and Medical: Health Outcomes In Northeast Ohio

Throughout its history, TPF has been dedicated to improving health outcomes of disenfranchised individuals both locally and overseas. This year, TPF proudly supports the work of Literary Cleveland as it brings to greater Cleveland the documentary theatre production “Issues of Blood.” This production about women's maternal health, and the need for lifesaving infant will use art to serve as a means of peaceful social activism and a method to elevate the work of physicians and healthcare teams working to reduce the gap between health outcomes for minority women and their non-minority counterparts. The play scheduled to open in the spring of 2025 will include panel discussions and opportunities to take action.
